The Moreau Community Center has named Cheryl Lawyer the new Director of Marketing and Outreach responsible for raising awareness for the Center via marketing, social media, and community collaborations, as well as developing and supporting fundraising initiatives. As a long-time South Glens Falls resident, she has been an active Center volunteer and had been elected to the Board of Directors in 2021. Cheryl brings over twenty years of experience in nonprofits, particularly supervising, training, and raising pups to be guide dogs and supporting the blindness community in a 14-county region. She is also an NYS Certified Professional Elementary Teacher and an eighteen-year substitute teacher in the area schools.
