StoredTech Appoints Aleks Pavlinik to Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
StoredTech, an IT solutions provider in New York and North Carolina, has appointed Aleks Pavlinik to Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In his new role as CISO, Aleks will continue leading security initiatives for StoredTech’s employees across five different offices and in two different countries, plus overseeing the deployment of comprehensive IT solutions for enterprise size clients.
Aleks joined StoredTech in 2016 as Director of Information Technology. In the past seven years with StoredTech, he has overseen security awareness, incident response, disaster recovery, business resilience, threat detection, plus managing and developing security policies and procedures. Last year, he led StoredTech through the SOC 2 Type 2 audit compliance process.
Aleks has 23 years of IT and security experience. Before joining StoredTech, he was employed at GSS Infotech, whose headquarters are in Hyderbad, India as a solutions architect and systems consultant. He designed and implemented complex infrastructure solutions for large enterprise size companies in several industries including finance, healthcare, education, and manufacturing. Prior to that, he spent twelve years as the senior network administrator at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY.
Aleks will serve as CISO effective immediately.
