Auto Body Technician-up to $5000 Sign-On Bonus

Trailways of New York, a prominent family-owned intercity bus company established in 1926, is currently seeking a skilled Auto Body Mechanic to join our team at the Adirondack Trailways Fleet Maintenance Facility in Albany, NY. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and repairing our modern fleet of motor coaches, ensuring ensure safe and efficient transportation services throughout New York State and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Performing welding and fabrication tasks on various motor coach components, including frames, body panels, and structural elements.
• Inspecting, testing, repairing, and making necessary adjustments to welded joints and fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

• 3 or more years as an Auto Body Mechanic with strong welding skills, preferably in the motor coach or school bus industry.
• Availability for the 1st shift, (7:30am-4:00pm) and a 5-day work-week which can and must include weekends and holidays.
• Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to learning.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Possess own basic tools required for the job.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical examination.
• Valid driver's license.
