Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in television and/or digital media sales, with a strong understanding of advertising principles and market dynamics is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent written and oral English language communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills, with the ability to close deals and exceed sales targets.
- Adept at analyzing data and market trends to identify opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Passion for broadcast and digital media, with a keen interest in staying updated on industry advancements.
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently required.
- Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to manipulate computer keys and general office equipment (telephone, copier, etc.). Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. Average pushing and pulling, bending and stooping. The Company may make reasonable accommodations to facilitate the ability to perform essential job function.

Job Overview
The Account Executive is responsible for selling advertising to clients and developing new business relationships by prospecting, developing and selling new direct-business accounts, making sales presentations, performing collections, maintaining client relations and sales.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified clients for broadcast and digital products.
- Identify and research potential accounts and solicit new business through outbound communication.
- Maintain a consistent presence out in the field, building relationships.
- Present to decision makers the benefits of the station’s offerings, showcasing their unique value propositions.
- Create customized client proposals designed to maximize ROI.
- Relationship management – build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Continuously engage with clients to understand their evolving needs, provide data-driven insights, and offer innovative solutions that align with their advertising strategies.
- Product Expertise: Develop a deep knowledge of our television and digital product offerings, staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape. Articulate the benefits and features of our products, providing clients with a clear understanding of how they can achieve their advertising objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, creative, and operations, to ensure seamless campaign execution and delivery. Provide feedback and insights from clients to help shape product development and enhance customer experience.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including revenue growth, market share, and customer satisfaction. Utilize CRM systems and reporting tools to generate accurate sales forecasts and insights, leveraging data to drive informed decision-making.
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance. Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings, individual meetings with management and other meetings as needed.
- Work cooperatively and collaboratively with others, internally and externally.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
When extending an offer, the company considers a variety of factors such as (but not limited to) the candidate's work experience, education/training & key skills as well as internal peer equity and other market and business considerations.
The starting salaried base compensation is $50,000 to $75,000 annually, guaranteed for the first six months. Additional commissions (or bonuses) may be earned above the base salaried amount.
The above range represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
