Capital Campaign and Community Engagement Director

The Saratoga Center for the Family is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Capital Campaign Director to join our nonprofit organization, dedicated to making a lasting impact on children and families in our community. This is a temporary full-time position with the potential to become a permanent role that will report to the Center’s Executive Director.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in planning and executing our exciting new capital campaign initiative. We are thrilled to begin this fundraising journey for the construction of a new building, a vibrant space that will give us the ability to enhance and grow critical programming for children and families in our community. As the Capital Campaign Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies that engage the community, our supporters, and donors . You will also manage relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and board members, ensuring consistent communication and shared understanding of fundraising objectives.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective strategies for Saratoga Center for the Family's capital campaign initiative.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of campaign planning and execution.
- Engage donors and volunteers through outreach activities and events.
- Create campaign materials including brochures, presentations, and online content.
- Track and analyze campaign progress, preparing reports for stakeholders.
- Foster relationships with key donors by providing regular updates and acknowledgments.
- Make public appearances and accept speaking engagements to share information about the Saratoga Center for the Family’s Capital Campaign Committee with the community, stakeholders, and donors.
- Work collaboratively with the organizational leadership team and committees to align Capital Campaign Committee efforts with existing Center fundraising work and strategic goals.
Preferred Requirements
- Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising, particularly in capital campaigns.
- Strong project management skills, with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Ability to analyze data and produce actionable insights.
- Strong initiative, self-motivation, a positive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with donors.
- Proficient in using fundraising software and online giving platforms.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Dedication to, and enthusiasm for, the mission of the Saratoga Center for the Family.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Compensation
Compensation range begins at $60,000 and will be based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
